About The Park

Welcome to NorWin Campground
NorWin Campgrounds & Fruit Farm has been a fixture in Lyons, New York since 1966 — a family-run campground and orchard in the heart of Wayne County. We sit just off the Erie Canal, between Rochester and Syracuse, with shaded sites, mature trees, and a community of campers who come back season after season. Run by the DeWind family, NorWin calls itself Camper Country, and we’ve been part of that reputation for a long time. We’re glad you’re here.
Explore the Area Around the Park
Our location in Lyons puts you in a strong spot whether you’re here for work or here for play. Wayne County sits at a crossroads between some of the best the Finger Lakes region has to offer. Rochester is about 35 minutes west — a full city with a small-city feel and great restaurants, museums, and walkable neighborhoods. Syracuse is about 45 minutes east for more shopping, sports, and dining, popular with travel nurses, construction crews, and contract workers. Head south and Finger Lakes wine country delivers a completely different energy with vineyards, waterfalls, and scenic drives. Closer to home, the Erie Canal towpath, Sodus Bay, and Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge give you plenty of outdoor space without having to drive too far. Long Term Stays Welcome
NorWin has been a seasonal home for campers since 1966, and that history shows in the way the community here operates. Long term guests get the same large, shaded sites with water, sewer, and electric connections, picnic tables, and fire rings plus access to everything on the property, from the pool and playground to the game room, pavilion, and orchard. Our camp store is stocked with RV supplies and everyday essentials so you’re not making constant runs into town, and practical amenities like laundry facilities, private bathrooms, a dump station, and propane refills keep your extended stay comfortable. We’re pet friendly with a dog park on the property, and we have a gated entry for extra security. If you’re looking for a seasonal spot in Wayne County, we’d love to have you. Head to our long term RV page to learn more.
